Welcome to MailToYou (m2u.io, “we”, the “Service”). These Terms govern your access to and use of our disposable email service. By using or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If these Terms conflict with mandatory law, the law prevails.
## 1. Service description
- MailToYou provides disposable email addresses with no sign‑up, primarily for receiving messages.
- Messages and related data are retained for a short duration and then deleted automatically. The Service is not a long‑term storage or archiving solution.
- Multiple domains are available, including an education‑related domain for specific scenarios.
## 2. Eligibility
- You must have legal capacity to use the Service, or use it under parental/guardian consent.
- You must not use the Service for any unlawful, infringing, malicious, or harmful activities.
## 3. License and restrictions
You may:
- Use the Service for free and reasonably to receive messages, subject to these Terms and applicable laws;
- Switch domains or clear content when such features are available.
You may not:
- Send spam, phishing, fraud, malware, or any harmful content;
- Perform mass registrations, OTP bombing, account farming/spoofing, circumvent third‑party risk controls, or violate third‑party terms;
- Impersonate others, institutions, or educational organizations, or misuse the education‑related domain in a misleading way;
- Attempt unauthorized access, probing, or attacks against the Service or others;
- Scrape, index, or mass export potentially private communications of others;
- Use the Service for long‑term storage, sensitive information, or scenarios requiring traceability/identity proof (e.g., finance, healthcare, government, account recovery).
## 4. Education domain
- The edu‑oriented domain is for reasonable and lawful education‑related uses only.
- Do not impersonate educational institutions or create false trust based on the edu‑related identity.
- We may impose additional restrictions or make adjustments at any time to prevent abuse.
## 5. Content and rights
- Messages are generally sent by third parties. You understand and agree that anyone who knows an address may access its inbox during the active period.
- We claim no ownership of message content, but you grant us the necessary technical rights to receive, temporarily store, display, and scan content for security and service provision.
- Exercise caution with links, attachments, and downloads from third parties.
## 6. Changes and termination
- We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, and adjust usage policies/limits (e.g., retention, rate limits, domain pool).
- If you violate these Terms or engage in abuse/illegal activities, we may restrict or block access and cooperate with lawful investigations.
## 7. Disclaimer
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of continuous availability, deliverability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Emails may be filtered, delayed, or blocked by third parties; do not rely on disposable inboxes for critical or sensitive matters.
## 8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or related to the Service;
- Our aggregate liability for direct damages (if any) shall not exceed the fees you paid for the Service (zero if the Service is free).
## 9. Compliance and dispute resolution
- You agree to comply with applicable laws and third‑party rules.
- These Terms do not exclude or limit non‑waivable consumer rights in your jurisdiction.
- Disputes should first be resolved through good‑faith negotiations; failing that, they will be handled per applicable law and dispute mechanisms.
## 10. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the site. Continued use after updates signifies acceptance of the revised Terms.
